Luca Spadaro

In Pavia in the 1991, with former classmates, musicians and writers, he began with founding the amateur group "Guittipiccini". Then, with the transition to professionalism, comes "Emergencies Theater", born from the meeting of some young actors and a director who share the desire to produce shows independently and to study forms and techniques of theatrical art. During the years, has been built a stable working group, around which various artists of different backgrounds and training gravitate from time to time.

In the meantime, Spadaro leaves for Latin America, thanks to the relationships established by attending the summer courses of the International School of the Teatro delle Radici. In collaboration with actors from the Theater Experimentation Center of Cordoba (Argentina), Spadaro directs (and interprets) La inmortal - The immortal, grotesque fairy tale which was presented at the Festival Internazionale del Teatro di Lugano in the 1996.

Over the years "Teatro d'Emergenza" produces more than 20 performances (many of them starting from original dramaturgy) presented in Switzerland, Italy and South America and offers a lot of courses and seminars for professional actors, amateurs, children and teenagers.

Among the recent shows of the company: 2014 Il silenzio è obbligatorio, by Massimiliano Zampetti. Directed by Luca Spadaro. 2015 – La casa di Bernarda Alba, by Federico Garcìa Lorca. Translation and direction by Luca Spadaro. In co-production with Luganoinscena. 2016 – Finale di partita, by Samuel Beckett. Directed by Luca Spadaro. 2017 - Cattiverie, written and directed by Luca Spadaro, a comedy, or rather a variety, which tells the worst of humanity in the only way that our age grants us: with foolish joy.
