Richard Weihe

Adjoint Professor, Researcher and Teacher MA of Theory and Theatre Practice

Trained at the School of Theatre in Zurich and studied German, English, and philosophy at the universities of Zurich, Bonn, Oxford, and Cambridge. Holds a PhD from the University of Zurich and habilitation treatise (venia legendi ) from the University of Witten / Herdecke.
Adjunct Professor at SUPSI since 2012. Senior Fellow  at the Internationales Forschungszentrum Kulturwissenschaften (IFK) in Vienna and teacher at the University of Witten / Herdecke and at the Bauhaus-Universität of Weimar. Has done extensive research and publications on the theory and genealogy of the clown, the mask, and theatre theory.
Author and translator of literary texts.
