Mathieu Horeau

A philosopher specializing in German classical philosophy, he earned a PhD from the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, where he taught aesthetics and the history of philosophy. He then moved to Berlin to conduct several post-doctoral projects and scientific translations, and he created a series of philosophical lectures hosted by the French Institute. Simultaneously, he devoted himself to writing documentaries, notably co-authoring the film "Préliminaires," which was broadcast on Arte in 2021. Passionate about theatre, he joined the Accademia Dimitri with the ambition of applying his academic expertise and long-standing interest in socially engaged art.
