A Space for Dialogue and Exchange

The Assembly was structured around two main sessions. In the first round, each institution presented the projects carried out over the past two years, providing insight into the diverse pedagogical and artistic approaches adopted by European theatre schools.

In the second round, students gathered to reflect on how to strengthen their presence within the network, develop new collaborative projects, and improve communication between the academies. Meanwhile, institutional representatives discussed the current political landscape and its impact on theatre education systems. What strategies can we adopt as a European artistic network? Why do we make theatre? These questions fueled a passionate and constructive debate.

Election of the New Board

The Assembly concluded with the election of the new board, composed of three institutional representatives, three student representatives, and a general secretary. This group will lead the network’s upcoming initiatives, working to strengthen collaboration between academies and promote theatre as a universal language of expression and transformation.

Accademia Dimitri is proud to have hosted this important moment of exchange and growth, reaffirming its commitment to building an increasingly connected and dynamic European theatrical future.
