Premio is a Swiss initiative that supports young talents in the performing arts by providing them with a platform to present projects to theater organizations and festivals. Each year, the selected companies receive support in the form of co-productions, residencies, and visibility during events such as PREMIO-Spring and PREMIO-Season. The goal is to foster networking and the growth of emerging projects across Switzerland.

The Accademia Dimitri is proud of the achievements of its ex-students, who are emerging successfully in the artistic world. In recent years, many of them have received significant recognition, becoming leading figures in the cultural and theatrical landscape, and driving forward valuable projects and collaborations.

  • Salomé Coquoz, together with Rita Moreira, founded the company Ainsi soient-elles and will present the premiere of their show GRIMHILDE on June 5 and 6, 2025, at La Grange in Lausanne. This work gives voice to a historically forgotten character, exploring themes of transgression and new female narratives.

  • Kevin Blaser and Faustino Blanchut, with their company Cie Fluctus, will stage I’m not a hero on March 11 and 12, 2025, in Fabriktheater Rote Fabrik, Zürich. The performance reflects on heroism and vulnerability in everyday life.

  • Lia Schädler, with her project Why don't you sleep at night?, will be at the Schweizer Künstlerbörse in Thun on April 12, 2025. This work explores the non-dream and the anguish of a society struggling to sleep.

  • Olivia Ronzani, together with Cie Softsoil, will present Grounding from February 6 to 8, 2025, at the TOJO Theater in Bern. This work blends poetry, research, and hope in a world that seems to "stay grounded."

  • Fanny Krähenbühl, with her work Fury Room, will be at the Théâtre du Jura from May 21 and 22, 2025. A monologue that oscillates between fiction and reality, exposing an emotion that is often demonized, unbearable, violent, and repressed, yet at the same time necessary and cathartic: rage.

  • Louis Enano Bogago, finalist for Premio 2024 with Misafir, a work created and choreographed by Coşkun Kenar, has participated in several artistic residencies. Marked and inspired by their personal experiences, the four dancers weave together not only dance styles and cultures but also their bicultural and multilingual backgrounds. Where does identity begin – and where does it end?

We are proud to see how these talents are contributing to the international theater scene and we look forward to witnessing their upcoming projects!
