This week, recent graduate Fanny Déglise concludes her artistic residency at the Fondazione Claudia Lombardi per il teatro.
This prestigious milestone is the result of the collaboration between the Accademia Dimitri and the Fondazione, which annually hosts one of the Lavori Individuali di Fine Formazione (LIFF) from the Bachelor of Arts in Physical Theatre, presented in Verscio in March.
The Fondazione Claudia Lombardi has historically supported various residency projects, many of which have found their way into theatre season line-ups. This support arises from the awareness of the growing need for performing artists to dedicate time to research and experimentation before staging a work. The artistic residency represents a tangible response to this need, offering young performers an ideal environment to develop and refine their new projects.
Fanny Déglise, winner of the 2024 Artistic Residency Award, has worked on her project "Suturer le vide". Through this project, Fanny explores the light and shadows of her relationship with childhood, seeking to reveal and narrate deep and personal aspects with courage and introspection. Her residency has been a valuable opportunity to delve into and perfect this significant work.
We wish Fanny all the best for the future and are excited to see how her project will come to life on the theatrical scene.
