FIRST PRICE! Not Found won the price for the Best Show FUGA Festival

Updated: Jul 21

We are thrilled to announce that our second-year Master's students, Aws, Emerson, and Marco Valerio, have been awarded the top prize at the FUGA Festival in Capodistria, Slovenia.

FUGA is the first and only international festival in Slovenia that focuses on theatrical performances and musical events from artistic academies and schools. The festival provides a platform for young artists to showcase their talent and creativity to an international audience.

Our students' performance, "Not Found", was a moving and thought-provoking piece that impressed the judges with its originality, artistry, and technical skill. We are incredibly proud of their achievement and we are confident that they have bright futures ahead of them in the world of performing arts.

This award is a testament to the high quality of training that our students receive at the Accademia Dimitri. We are committed to providing our students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their chosen field.

Congratulations to Aws, Emerson, and Marco Valerio on this well-deserved honor!

"this is a price to confront the anger.

how theater is the point of confronting the anger

the show is contemporary,

actual, they are using the physical body in a expressive theatrical way

they have unpredictable dramaturgy

constant contact with public

awarness of what is going on in the here and there in the theatre room and in the world using their owns identities

is vulnerable, but still strong and brave,

sometimes there are no words enough, to say what it need to be said,

and that's a decision.

could be moralistic, but still it wasn't

was brave and they succeeded.

beyond the artistic values,

not just political standing, but a human articulation

they had a great quality of lightness,

the one that michail chekhov mention,

but at the same time the heaviness in the sharpness.

is very deep personal (self) researching,

perfomers didn't enjoy themselves as a spectacle wasn't pretentious

wasn't searching for specularity,

was modest but also erruptive in building a breath for hope if there is no hope there's no future

if this hope dies

you need to re established a new hope and continue building a new future.

The prize for the best show goes to the performance NOT FOUND"
