Anna Lisa Grebe is an actress, singer, mover, and a ginger.
She studied acting at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna and recently graduated with her piece “Shooting Snow White – a f*cking modern fairy tale” at Accademia Dimitri, Switzerland, specializing in physical theater. In her work, she blends trash, classical storytelling, and music with a touch of humor, always creating something new and original. She is also a Wen-do instructor – a self-defense and self-assertion method for women. In this workshop, participants will move into un- known areas of their bodies that are often considered shameful. Through the tools of movement, imagination, and illusion, they will create a puppet-character with their own bodies in a playful and humorous way, in order to question truth and perception. How does your character walk, talk, move, breathe, and perceive the world around them? Can this also affect our own perception of reality?
“SHOOTING SNOW WHITE” is a one-woman physical show and a f*cking modern fairytale in which different characters, stereotypes, behaviors, and clichés from “Snow White” are embodied. By staging herself, her soul, her heart, and her own physical and mental nudity, the author stands for all women throughout the ages and radically reveals the absurdity of patriarchy.
