The Accademia Dimitri uses masks as a means of learning different aspects of theatre work, and the aim of the experiences it offers is to move from craftwork to the creation of dramatic characters and scenes. Each year, different characters and stories are created from the masks. Pupils are guided by the masks, dialogue with them, and then build a scene. Alone, in pairs, or in groups. With the mask as a starting point, new stories emerge. It is also about discovering style and cultivating it. Is a scene funny, poetic, political, stylized, or more realistic? Again, the student is guided by the mask and finds the expression.
