The two volumes report the results and experience of the project developed by the Accademia Dimitri Raccontare le migrazioni. Theatre and intercultural communication for schools, which has outlined and put into practice a program for schools aimed at promoting the intercultural skills of students and teachers. The project was carried out by combining extensive research work and a theatre workshop path in schools, both focused on migration. Thanks to their practical and experiential component, the workshops allowed girls and boys to experiment with human and social issues, creating an innovative approach that involves the person in its entirety.
The theatre thus becomes an instrument of knowledge and awareness, which allows us to deepen the theme of migration, overcoming the simplifications that divide reality into an 'we' and a 'they'.
