Age: 16+ years
Time: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM / 1:30 PM - 3:30 PMAre there any tools or points of reference to enable us to orient ourselves in physical theatre creation? How do we translate ideas and suggestions into actions that are both concrete and symbolic? What is meant by non-verbal dramaturgy?
The workshop proposes a research on expressive movement starting from the qualities of presence. Through the work on improvisation, we will explore the body's potential to recognise and develop impulses. In relationship with a space constantly to be defined and a time to be mastered, multiple expressive possibilities can be discovered. The work on dramatising movement will guide us in the creation of compositions that have meaning and tension, able to communicate with the audience on a physical, emotional and intellectual level.
The workshop is aimed at actors, dancers and performers with any level of experience. Starting from pre-existing material or a new idea, each participant will have the opportunity to integrate theory and practice in the creation and presentation of their own narrative fragment.
