The research department of the Accademia Teatro Dimitri has launched a series of publications that intends to present and deepen the different subjects taught in the academic building, which together are an expression of its peculiarity and excellence.

The necklace brings together a series of small, agile volumes, designed to fit in the jacket pocket or in a bag, intended for both students and students, as well as artists/ and the scene.

The first volume, edited by Veronica Provenzale and Demis Quadri, is dedicated to

the rhythm

Retracing with Oliviero Giovannoni, first teacher of rhythm of the School Dimitri of Verscio, developments and purposes of teaching the discipline, and prospecting its developments with Alessandro La Rocca, also through the presentation of some exercises that allow you to explore the theme in first person, this volume offers the opportunity to discover how many possibilities, experiences and perspectives the rhythm opens to the arts of the scene.

The ambition is to give an idea of how important it is for students and students of theater, but later also for actresses and actors, to acquire an awareness of rhythm and musicality in a theatrical action or, more generally, in any performing art.
