Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM / 1:30 PM – 3:30 PMA step into the unknown, where something unexpected arises and follows one's own, unplanned will. Yet there are rules and techniques, games and exercises that provide the necessary means to find your way in this wild world. In this course you will learn to trust your spontaneous impulses and consciously allow yourself to be guided by them, to develop and refine them. From movement to sound, from sound to speech, from speech to action. The engine of this process is our imagination and our capacity to react. Without pressure, but under creative tension, the creative power of each individual is released when impressions, situations and stories emerge from these impulses. The boundaries between play and creation blur as we individually and collectively explore the potential of the moment and know our creative compass.
Alvise Lindenberger
During his Master's at the Accademia Dimitri, Alvise had already started performing at the theatres in Biel and Solothurn, where he was on stage from 2018 to 2021. As an improvisation artist, he performed at Miller's Studio and Theater Rigiblick (Zurich), among others. Parallel to his theatre commitments, Alvise regularly teaches improvisation and physical theatre in Berlin and during the "ConneXt" theatre camps, which he co-organises every summer. His teaching comes from his time at the Academy and is suitable for both professionals and beginners, as the way of working is simple and profound at the same time. He speaks German, Italian and English fluently.
