Landay is a physical theater performance created by Diana Khwaja in collaboration with performer and outside eye Sean Henderson (CH/USA) stage designer Marcela Záchenská (SK) and video artist Kristián Babjar (SK).
Combining various cultural backgrounds, the artists will research how life under pressure influences the life of human beings.
The show Landay deals with external aspects of dari and pashto poetry (rhythm, melody of the language) and juxtaposes it with other stories of people from around the world and their way out from oppression and abuse of the body and mind.
The performance plays with the absurdity of everyday life of people under pressure. The performers express with movement and sound how they feel with the constant need to understand how restraint and obstacles shape their body and their life.
