Anjane Rupp

My name is Anjane Olivia Maria Rupp. I was born on February 19, 1997, in Berlin.

My theatrical journey began with clowning, which led me to become part of the collectives Music for Chameleon and Mobile Circus for Peace.

I completed a 10-month course at the Atelier for Physical Theatre in Berlin and then worked primarily with children and people with motor disabilities. I have organized participatory festivals and various "do it yourself" projects, and later, I began studying at the Accademia Dimitri.

Fortunately, in Berlin, I had found a place with more nature: the adventure playground. Now, theater—and for me, theater education is inseparable from it—has become my playground.

I love connecting with people, reaching them emotionally, and allowing myself to be moved by them. I believe in imagination and emotions. I see them as a gateway to ourselves and a driving force for a little more empathy, entropy, and euphoria in everyday life.
