Bejo Christen

Date of birth: 09.01.2000 Place: Sydney Nationality: Swiss, Australian Languages: German, English, French, Italian Bejo Llewelyn Christen was born and raised partly in Sydney, Australia, and partly in Zurich, Switzerland. From an early age, he was surrounded by theatre, film and performing arts. He sang in school choirs, acted in local theatre groups and made short films at home. After moving to Switzerland and adapting to a completely new culture and language, his interest in an acting career blossomed when he attended the Atelierschule in Zurich, specialising in Music, Dance and Theatre. There he rediscovered singing and acting, taking every opportunity he could. From singing as a soloist to playing the main characters in various theatre and choral projects at the school. He was invited to join a professional theatre company to create the play 'Die Endemiten'. After each of these projects, he began to realise that any other work would not do. He simply had to devote himself to acting. After completing his training as a Voice Actor at the Speech Academy Switzerland, he found his way to the Dimitri Academy, where he diligently experiments with physical expression through the body. He enthusiastically aspires to create and share stories that have the power to inspire thought, entertain a giggle and touch a heart, or two.
